Anna Yates Elementary Outdoor Classroom

The team worked with Special Education Supervisor Deanna Yasaki, SF Children & Nature and SF Landscaping to transform a vacant rubberized zone into a nature-rich outdoor classroom.  This space is designed for the increased TK poplulation at the school as well as special education students.  It includes native plantings, a tree for shade, stumps and wood pizzas for paths and climbing, a chalkboard, a pebble pit, mud kitchen and palm frond hut.
