Join us for scientific adventure and play at Emeryville Marina Park to learn about the sharks, rays and ecosystems of San Francisco Bay! Register here or just show up!

We'll have healthy snacks and interactive, sensory friendly activity stations for all ages including:

• Both loud and quiet areas of play and exploration

• Inclusive and multi-sensory learning stations about sharks and rays of the San Francisco Bay, co-facilitated by Ocean Science Expedition Academy and Coastal Learning Collaborative! Learn about different species' habitat, behaviours, anatomy and life cycle, and learn about and participate in catch and release, shoreline sampling of different species.

• Intertidal Bay ecology observation with the Wild Oyster Project, and nature observation art station with The Water Movement

• Book nook and reading circle at 11am and 1pm

• Nature play kits` for open-ended play and construction

• Sand and water tables for free play

• Nature scavenger hunt around the park for youth and families

Friday, August 21

4-6pm at Golden Gate Recreation Center

We'll be brining our nature play to the Golden Gate Recreation Center Back-to-school Event.  There will also be free school supplies, food, bounce house, and games for neighborhood families, all provided by the rec center.

Bay St. Mall Pride Celebration

We will be celbrating pride at this annual Bay St. event! Exact times TBD. 

Friday, December 4th

Bay St. Mall Tree Lighting

We'll be joining the fun at the annual Bay St. Mall Tree Lighting celebration. We'll be there from mid-afternoon until after the tree is lit!
